The painting, known as an icon on the right is known as the Mother of God of Kazan. Discovered under the city of Kazan in 1579 in now, Russia. Russian commanders credit it for helping to repel the Polish invasion of 1612, the swedish invasion of 1709, and Napoleon's invasion of 1812. Yea I know way more than you expected.
